WhyPrint ("we", "us", "our") operates the website www.whyprint.net and provides on-demand 3D printing services in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you provide when requesting a quote or placing an order: name, email, phone, delivery address, emirate.
• Order content: 3D model files (STL/OBJ/3MF), reference images, descriptions, material/color choices, and notes you submit.
• Account data if you sign up: email and authentication credentials (handled by our authentication provider).
• Usage data: standard log data (IP, browser type, pages visited) and cookies set by Google Tag / Google Ads for advertising measurement.

2. How we use it

• To produce, quote, fulfill, and deliver your 3D printing orders.
• To communicate with you about your order (email/phone).
• To measure advertising performance and improve the site.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. File uploads

Files you upload are stored privately and are accessible only to you (when signed in) and to our staff for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not share, sell, or publish your designs.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) infrastructure providers we use to host the site, store files, send emails, and process payments; (b) authorities, where legally required.

5. Retention

Order records are retained for accounting and warranty purposes for up to 5 years. Uploaded files may be deleted on request once the order is complete.

7. Analytics & cookies

We use the following tools to understand how visitors use the site and to measure advertising performance:

• PostHog — product analytics and session replay (page views, clicks). We mask all form-field input, so nothing you type is ever collected.
• Google Tag (Google Ads & Google Analytics) — measures ad campaign performance and general site traffic.
• TikTok Pixel — measures the performance of our TikTok advertising, including which visits lead to a completed order.
• Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights — cookieless, aggregated page-performance data; no personal data is collected.

PostHog, Google Tag, and TikTok Pixel use cookies or similar device identifiers. Use the toggle above to opt out of these at any time. You can also block or clear cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect some site features.
